Title: SUSPICIOUS MALES IN RED VW ESTATE
In Imberhorne Lane, East Grinstead 18.25hrs 8th February 2 white males, early 20's described as "traveller types" were seen in suspicious circumstances, when challenged they became abusive and left in a red VW Estate P364HKF Any further sightings of these males/vehicle please call in immediately on 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 1298 of the 8/2.
Jevington Area

Last night (16/08/05), a farm at Jevington was broken into and a large quantity of tack was stolen, mostly saddles and bridles. Of particular note is a Continental brand Western Saddle, which is quite distinctive (and valuable), which would not be easy to pass on around Sussex. There is also a black/green synthetic western saddle, western bridle and a number of English saddles, bridles, girths, saddle pads etc. A crime number will be assigned in due course.

Sussex Horse Watch are delighted to announce that stolen Dutch Warm Blood 'Millie' missing/stolen from farm in West Sussex since 2001 has been traced to a farm near Tunbridge Wells and has since been reunited with owner Samantha Cordingley. Sam had given up all hope of ever seeing Millie again. Millie's return is in no small part due to the combined efforts of the Horsewatch team.

Theft of tack from Albourne Area

At Albourne Equestrian Centre, Henfield Road, Albourne – 1900 hrs to 0830 hrs 26/7/05 to 27/7/05 a report of both stable/garage breaks at the location – tack and garden equipment stolen. Serials 352 and 470 of 27/7/05 refer
Attempted theft of tack Storrington Area
27/07/05
An attempt was made to steal tack from a farm in Newhouse Lane, Storrington overnight Tuesday, 26th July / am 27th July. Doors were forced and an attempt made to force a padlock. The thieves were defeated by the padlock, but quite an amount of damage was caused.

The following saddle has been recovered in Surrey. Described as a Farrindons dressage saddle and girth, together with a snaffle bridle. If you have lost such an item, or know of anyone who has, please phone Surrey Police on 0845 125 2222 quoting ref P2544670.

Recovered Tack

PC Angie Keeley at Steyning has recovered a large quantity of tack that is almost certainly stolen, much of it may originate in Sussex. These items can be viewed on the Virtual Bumblebee web site. This property has been with the Police since 24th February 2005 and she is concerned that as much of the property as possible is restored to its rightful owners.

Stolen Ifor Williams Trailer
Between 2100 and 2300 Thursday the 7th July from a farm in South Godstone. Ifor Williams silver drop side trailer no serial number known but has welded plate on side of towing arm with "QFIT" stamped on.
